We Are People Who Go

We send and support people all throughout the world to spread the truth of the gospel to our neighbors and the nations.

Local

Jesus is making a name for Himself in Northwest PA and we believe He has called all believers to an active role in this mission. At FBC, we provide opportunities for members to participate in the work Jesus is doing in Cambridge Springs and surrounding areas. Currently, we partner with college ministries at Edinboro University, Cambridge Springs schools, the Crawford County pregnancy center, the local women's prison, and we organize multiple community events where our goal is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Domestic

We also believe Jesus has called us to come alongside those in our state and nation. Currently, we are partnered with the Valley Remnant Church in Donora, PA. Phil Pagliari is the lead pastor and church planter. Our partnership with the Valley Remnant Church includes prayer, giving, and sending.

International
Every member at FBC has the opportunity to participate in the work the Lord is doing overseas. First and foremost, every believer can pray. Pray for the unreached who have no access to the gospel and pray for the missionaries who Jesus has called to take the gospel to these distant places. Second, every believer can give. Every time you give to FBC, a portion of your gift goes to see the gospel advanced to the nations. Finally, you can go. Go to the mission field yourself, either on a short-term trip or as a long-term missionary. Currently, we partner with church planters in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and support several missionaries around the world.
Explore Short-Term Sending
Thank you for considering a short-term mission trip with FBC. This is more than an overseas trip. We are boldly asking God to give us the promise he made to Jesus in Psalm 2:8: “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance”. You are part of the answer to that prayer.
Requirements to Go Short-Term
To ensure successful short-term trips that are beneficial for our partnering church planters as well as those on the team, individuals applying for FBC short-term trips should meet the following requirements:
  1. Be a follower of Christ,
  2. Be a member or regular attendee of FBC, and
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of the gospel and how it propels us to go to the nations. (Members of short-term teams are required to attend a missions class and required to give their testimony in a group format).
